丽莎Riffel is in her fourth year teaching choral music at Lincoln High School, and eighth year of teaching.  She teaches the Freshman Leadership & Inquiry 唱诗班, Cardinal 唱诗班, Chamber 唱诗班, and West Sylvan Middle School 唱诗班. After teaching elementary music in Glendale, 加州, she decided to further her education and moved to Oregon to study with Dr. Ethan Sperry at Portland State Univeristy where she received a masters of music in choral conducting.  While studying at PSU, she served as the 亩ic Education Graduate Teaching Assistant under the guidance of Debra Glaze and taught a variety of university music classes including Intro to Conducting, 唱诗班, Fundamentals of 亩ic, and K-12 Vocal Techniques.  

Lisa is passionate about choral music both as a conductor/teacher, and also as a singer.  She sang in the award winning and internationally acclaimed Portland State Chamber 唱诗班 for four years and currently sings in the Oregon Repertory Singers, Trinity Episcopal Chamber Singers, and other professional choral ensembles around town.  

作为老师, Lisa's aim is to provide the best possible musical experience for her students and use choral singing as a way to create community, 美, 和快乐.

Lisa is happily married to fellow Lincoln math teacher, 安德鲁Riffel, and together they love to travel, hike the beautiful trails in the area, 和唱歌.
