    PPS is committed to providing all students with high-quality teaching and learning in every classroom, instruction that helps them achieve our Graduate Portrait and closes persistent gaps in outcomes based on race. We’re taking several important steps to make this vision a reality: calibrating around a 新 instructional framework that articulates a shared vision of highly effective teaching and learning, adopting 新 curricula to support that instruction, and offering improved professional learning experiences for teachers aligned to both.

    的re have been many opportunities for community, 家庭, and student engagement throughout the process of developing the PPS ReImagined Vision, Graduate Portrait, and Forward Together Strategic Plan.

    PPS is also starting a 新 Family Advisory Council on Education with representatives from PPS schools to provide feedback about throughout the school year. 的 Council is a space to provide input to proposed, 新, and/or ongoing academic and instructional initiatives and engage in conversations with Senior Instructional Leaders in the District Office.
